2012 LAMSBD Trustee Election

This is a reminder that qualifying for election to seats on the LAMSBD Board will be conducted starting at noon, Monday, June 4, 2012 and will end at noon, Friday, June 8, 2012 at the office of Supervisor of Elections, Chris Chambless, in Green Cove Springs. The following seats on the Board are up for election and thus, will be on the ballot this year: Seats 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 9. If you hold one of these seats and you wish to run for re-election or if you wish to run for election for the first time, you must file qualifying papers with the Supervisor of Elections during the qualifying period between June 4 and June 8. Board Seat Openings

Eight LAMSBD board seats are open. Any lake resident may apply for a seat by completing the Citizen Application Form for BCC Boards, Commissions, or Committees application.
You must be a property owner and live on the lakes. Applications will be taken until August 27th.  The BCC will appoint board members at the September 14th BCC Meeting.
The new Board will be effective November 8, 2010 at the Board Meeting (the second Monday).
